Featured as the only Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System in the state of Indiana as well as a CARF-certified rehabilitation center.

Summary

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing quality radiographs utilizing knowledge of anatomic positions, equipment maneuverability and technical factors to best project the patient's unique problem.

Essential Functions

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, while demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients
  • Follow the physician's orders, prepare and operate equipment while positioning the patient correctly to record the requested diagnostic images
  • Perform specific radiographic and/or fluoroscopic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation upon written order of licensed and RHI credentialed physician
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors
  • Process and deliver images for radiologist interpretation
  • Observe patient throughout procedure to ensure secure positioning

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience as a Radiology Tech preferred
  • Independent judgement required
  • Must be able to operate a C-arm
  • Experience with Cerner and PACS preferred
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT)
  • Current license from Indiana State Department of Health
  • CPR certification required
